Root of the Marseille soap making tradition, the green cube soap is an extra pure recipe with 72% olive oil, mainly used as a body soap or as a degreaser in the kitchen and laundry, presented in the 400 gram format, is a fresh soap, virgin, easy to cut and make it comfortable for the intended use.
With a neutral smell, attributable, just by the most attentive noses, to s squeezed and cooked olive taste, Marseille soap with olive oil is traditionally biodegradable and vegetable, free of additives and pleasantly appreciated by all types of skin.
The 400 gram Marseille soap cube with olive oil is manufactured according to tradition, in compliance with the dictates of geographical origin, within the territorial area of Marseille, of composition, with vegetable oils, salt, soda and water, and the manufacturing method, slow cooking, for 10 days, implemented by the Colbert edict of 1688, also following the exclusive and perfected family recipe handed down for over a century and 5 generations by the Marius Fabre soap factory.
As founding member of the Marseille soap consortium, each Marius Fabre cube bears the UPSM guarantee seal.
Responsible raw materials, low environmental impact processing and completely biodegradable finished product make the Marseille soap cube a product in line with the dictates of the Eco-Cert Eco-Detergent certification, reserved for detergents and soaps that respect the planet and the animal world.
The ingredients and general proportions are enshrined in a Royal law with over three centuries of history behind it and each Marseille soap, to be defined as such, must comply with the specificities enshrined in it.
The 400g Green Marseille Soap Cube is made with water, olive oil, a pinch of coconut oil, soda and table salt.
INCI: Sodium olivate, Sodium cocoate, Aqua, Sodium chloride, Sodium hydroxide
Solid soap is exponentially more environmentally friendly than liquid soap and the Marius Fabre olive oil 400 gram block of Marseille is certainly not an exception. Thanks to sustainable ingredients and a 100% biodegradable product result, this green cube is the most ecological cleaner you can get your hands on. As a proof of a constant commitment and not only by a tradition lineage, each Marseille soap cube is now distributed with reduced packaging, completely recycled or recyclable.
A whole family friendly soap, the green cube is even more irreplaceable with specific skin conditions. As a natural purifying antiseptic moisturizer, Marseille soap is suitable for use on the skin of newborns, being very sensitive, on that of adolescents, especially on the face, as it is often impure and requires constant care, and on dry, oily or mature skin, as a stabilizer by being respectful of the balances of the skin.
Not only qualities related to body, home and laundry hygiene are handed down on Marseille soap, but also some derived from the constant intertwining of science and alchemy.
Not supported by clinical or laboratory tests, tradition has it that it can be used:
- against insects infesting wardrobes, dressers, closets and under roofs, capable of repelling moths and moths;
- to prevent cramps, if placed on the bottom of the bed, under the covers;
